Jurassic World Amber Collection

Coming to the UK in spring 2020

Its been a long time coming since those early images were teased last year, but the new Jurassic World Amber Collection has now been officially revealed by Mattel.

So what is the Amber Collection?

The Amber Collection will be a new series of figures aimed at collectors and will features characters and dinosaurs from both the original Jurassic Park and newer Jurassic World.

How big will they be?

The new figures will be of the 6 Inch scale, so bigger than the current 3.75 inch scale of the legacy collection and regular line human figures

What other figures will be part of the Amber Collection?

The amber collection is expected to launch in the USA later this year with the Ian Malcolm and Velociraptor figures. We have also seen previewed Own and Velociraptor blue. If these are successful we can might see more classic figures from the likes of Alan Grant and Ellie and other iconic dinosaurs like the Triceratops and Dilophosaurs, but this is just speculation.

When and where will it be available in the UK?

We have had it confirmed from a representative at Mattel that the Amber Collection will be a Amazon Exclusive and is due for a summer 2020 release.

What is the expected RRP

Based on the known prices in the USA we expected each figure to retail at somewhere between £24.99 - £34.99.

We have contacted Amazon but no further information was available at this time. We will update as more information emerges.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

On the 4th June Netflix announced the new series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Due to be released in 2020.

I hope you are all as excited as we are for the first ever animated series from the Jurassic Park/World franchise. Fans have been eager for an animated series since it was first revealed that Steven Spielberg vetoed plans for an animated series in the 90’s.

As part of the announcement from Dreamworks , they revealed the new action/adventure animated series will debut globally on Netflix in 2020, as part of a wider deal with Netflix to produce original content.

Set during the events of Jurassic World, this new series will take us back to Isla Nublar and a new Adventure camp on the other side of the Island. But as disaster unfolds across the island they find themselves stranded with no way to contact the outside world.

New Jurassic World Dino Rivals

I’m super excited to say we have received some of the latest toys from Mattel’s Jurassic World line. These come in the shape of the new Dino Rivals. We currently have the dual attack Triceratops, Parasaurolophus & Concaventor & Bite ‘N Fight T-Rex.

The dual attacks feature new was to play, a tail whip and a chomping or head striking action.

The Bite ‘N Fight T-Rex also has a tail strike, along with a head twisting and chomping action.

These are fantastic toys and a great addition to the Jurassic World line.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

I would like to wish everyone who supported Jurassic Toys over the festive period, a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

It was a very busy and exciting period following the launch in December, and I hope to use that momentum so springboard Jurassic Toys into 2019.

Looking forward I hope to expand the range, with more toys, books and greetings card all for the dino lover.

You will be able to hear about any new developments here, first.

Thank You

Dan.
